Zohata Impex

Our business, Zohata Impex, is located in Jayanagar on the 3rd Cross. The address is a bit of a weird number, 342.133333333333, but people usually find us once they get to the right street. We deal with importing and exporting different items, mostly smaller goods that people around here need. It started out as a side project and then it just grew into a full-time job. Jayanagar is a nice area to work in because it is organized and the streets are wide enough for deliveries. Our space is mostly taken up by boxes and packing tape. We spend a lot of time checking on shipments and making sure the customs paperwork is handled. It isn't very exciting most days, just a lot of waiting for emails and then a sudden rush when a container arrives. We are a small team, so everyone does a bit of everything, from answering the phone to carrying boxes. We don't have a corporate office culture here. We usually just wear casual clothes and drink a lot of coffee while we work. We’ve been at this for a few years now and have a decent rhythm going. We aren't looking to take over the world or open ten branches. We just want to make sure the things we bring in are good quality and arrive when they are supposed to. Sometimes the shipping schedules get messed up by the weather, but we do our best to keep everyone informed about when their orders will actually show up at their door.
