We are tucked away in Shivaji Nagar, Bangalore, right on C Street in Korchipalya. It’s a busy area, especially with Broadway Road Cross so close. If you know where Golden Chicken is, then finding us is easy since we are right behind it. The smell of fried food usually wafts into our space around lunchtime. It’s a small place, nothing like those big corporate offices in the tech parks. We have a lot of stuff shoved into cupboards, like decorations and papers from old jobs. Shivaji Nagar is always buzzing with people, so there is never a quiet moment. We do all sorts of event work, from little birthday setups to bigger things. Most of the time, I am out on my scooter meeting vendors or checking on a venue. My desk is a bit of a mess with sticky notes and half-empty water bottles. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have been doing this for a while. We know the local shops and where to get things without spending too much. It’s a lot of running around, and sometimes my phone doesn’t stop ringing, but I’d rather be busy than sitting around doing nothing. We just take things one day at a time and try to make sure everything goes okay for the people who hire us. It is hard work but we are used to the noise.
