Zenith Trading Co

Zenith Trading Co is situated at 144 Balepet, which is one of the oldest trading hubs in the city. If you walk down this street, you'll see dozens of shops just like ours, all crammed together. We’ve been here for a long time, dealing with various goods and supplies. The building is old, and the stairs are a bit narrow and steep, which makes moving heavy boxes a real challenge. We spend most of our day tracking orders and checking the stock in the back room. It’s often quite dark inside because the buildings are so close together that the sun doesn't reach the lower floors. We have a small desk with a lot of papers piled up and an old calculator that we still use every day. Balepet is famous for its narrow roads and the constant flow of people, so it's never quiet here. We hear the shouts of the street vendors and the horns of the two-wheelers all day long. Dealing with wholesalers and retailers means we are always on our toes. Sometimes the stock doesn't arrive on time because of some transport strike or rain, and we just have to explain that to our customers. We don't use any high-tech systems; we mostly rely on our notebooks and our memory. It’s a traditional way of doing business, but it’s how we’ve always operated in this part of town. There is always a pile of boxes waiting to be moved or counted every morning when we open.
