Mysore Handicrafts

My family has been doing this for a while now. We opened Mysore Handicrafts because we like the things people make around here. Our shop is on the first floor on As Street. You have to walk up the stairs to find us. It isn't a huge place, just a few rooms filled with wood carvings and stuff like that. Most days it is just us sitting here, waiting for people to come in and look around. Sometimes the light in the hallway is a bit dim, but once you get inside it is fine. We don't have a big sign outside. People usually find us by asking around or just stumbling upon the door. The street gets busy in the afternoons with all the traffic. We try to keep things organized on the shelves, but sometimes it gets a bit cluttered when new boxes arrive from the makers. It’s mostly just wood and brass items that smell like polish. We spend a lot of time dusting. If you come by, you might see us drinking tea or talking to the neighbors. There isn’t much to say other than we are here every day except Sundays. We just keep doing what we do. It's a quiet way to make a living on As Street. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, but we are used to it by now. Just look for the stairs.
