If you look behind the KSRTC booking centre at Jalahalli Cross, you’ll find us on the first floor of building 742. Rohit International has been operating from this spot on NH-4 Tumkur Road for a while now. It’s a busy area because of the buses and the highway traffic, so there’s always noise coming through the windows. Our office isn't anything special. It’s got a few desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of paper everywhere. We spend most of our time on the computer or the phone, trying to track shipments and talking to people in different time zones. It gets pretty stressful when a container is delayed at the port, and you can usually hear someone shouting into a phone about it. We don't have a fancy lobby or a coffee machine for guests. If someone comes by, we usually just offer them a plastic chair and some water from the dispenser. The location is convenient because we’re right on the main road, but the parking is a total mess. We’ve learned to just deal with the chaos of Jalahalli Cross. We aren't a big multi-national firm with polished floors. We’re just a small group of people trying to move goods from one place to another without too many headaches. It’s hard work, and the days are often long, but we’re used to the pace by now. It is what it is.
