Zed Tyres

If you spend any time at Zed Tyres, the first thing you notice is definitely the smell of new rubber. We are located over at Mariyappana Palya, specifically at Nagar Road No.3045/11. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there is always the sound of engines and horns in the background. Our shop is usually filled with stacks of tires of all different sizes, and sometimes it’s a bit of a squeeze to move around. We spend our days working with our hands, dealing with greasy rims and heavy lifting. It’s not the cleanest job, and by the end of the shift, our clothes usually have a few black marks on them. The floor is concrete and stays a bit cool even when the sun is hitting the front of the building. We have a few tools lying around that have seen better days, but they still do the job just fine. People stop by when they have a flat or need something checked, and we just get to work. There’s no big waiting room with a TV, just a bench outside where you can sit and watch the traffic go by on Nagar Road. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, but we just keep at it. Working at 3045/11 keeps us pretty connected to the local drivers who pass through this part of Mariyappana Palya every single day. It is just honest work that needs to be done.
