You can find Speedways Tyres Ltd. over by Suchi Pind, right near the Bye Pass on G.T. Road. It’s a good location for us because the big trucks can get in and out without too much trouble. We deal with rubber and tires all day long, so the smell is something you just get used to after a week or two. The facility is fairly large, and there’s always something moving, whether it's a forklift or a delivery van. We have a lot of different sizes and treads stacked up in the warehouse. It’s hard work and the guys get pretty tired by the end of the shift, but it’s a living. We’ve seen the G.T. Road change a lot over the years, but we’re still here doing the same thing. It’s not a glamorous job. Your hands get dirty and the warehouse can be cold in the winter and roasting in the summer. We just get on with it though. We have a small crew and most of us have been working together for a long time. We don't have a fancy website with a bunch of promises. People usually just call us up or drop by the gate when they need something for their vehicle. We keep the paperwork simple and try to stay out of the way. It’s just how things are done at Suchi Pind, and we plan to stay here for a while.
