Rolls On Wheels

You can find us at Unit G-3 on the ground floor of the Imperial Court building. We’re at No.33/1 Cunningham Road, right next to Ammis Biryani. Most people in Bangalore know this street is always packed with traffic and people looking for something to eat. Rolls On Wheels isn’t a huge restaurant with waiters in suits. It’s more of a practical spot where you can grab a bite and move on with your day. We spend most of our time behind the counter, rolling up dough and cooking the fillings on the tawa. It gets pretty warm in the small kitchen area, especially during the lunch rush when everyone is in a hurry. We don’t have much space for sitting, so you’ll see people standing around outside or eating in their cars parked nearby. We use simple ingredients and just try to get the flavor right every time we make something. The bell on the door rings constantly when the delivery drivers come in to pick up orders. It’s a bit chaotic sometimes, but we’ve got a system that works for us. We’ve been here long enough that we know the office workers who come by every week. We don’t do any fancy plating here. It’s just food wrapped in paper, ready to go. We keep the counter wiped down and the grill hot. That’s pretty much our whole day, from start to finish, right here on Cunningham Road.
