Yuvaraj Tent House

Yuvaraj Tent House is right on Ramoji Rao Road in Mallathahalli. We’ve been here at number 1 for a good long time. Mostly, we deal with tents and chairs for weddings or whatever function is happening in the neighborhood. It’s heavy work, moving those poles and the thick fabric around. Our hands stay pretty rough from the ropes and the metal. Sometimes the weather makes it tough, especially when it rains and we have to dry everything out so it doesn’t smell. We aren't a big fancy event company. We just have our trucks and our gear. People stop by to book things for their kids' birthdays or a prayer meeting. We try to keep the chairs clean, but with all the moving around, they get scuffed. That’s just part of it. The shop is mostly a storage space filled with stacks of stuff. It’s noisy when we load the trucks early in the morning. We know most of the people on this street by now. If someone needs a few extra benches last minute, we usually find a way to help out. It’s just how things go here. We don’t have a big office staff, it’s just a few of us doing the lifting and the setup. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy through the wedding season. We keep a list of bookings in a worn-out notebook on the desk. Sometimes we get the dates mixed up, but we always fix it.
