Y.P. Steel Tradinng Co-Operation

We are based out of Keerthi Royale Apartments on the Banaswadi Outer Ring Road. It’s right next to the Tamarind Hotel, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us in the heavy Bangalore traffic. Being a steel trading co-operation means we spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting with suppliers. Our office is in Flat GM17. It might seem a bit quiet for a steel business, but that’s where the paperwork happens. The actual steel moves from the yards to the customers, we just manage the trading part of it. Steel prices go up and down every day, so it keeps us on our toes. We have to keep track of the market and make sure our clients are getting what they need when they need it. It’s a competitive field, especially in a city growing as fast as this one. The Outer Ring Road is always jammed, so we do a lot of our business over mobile calls and emails these days. We’ve been operating under the name Y.P. Steel Tradinng for some time now. It’s a small team, mostly just family and a couple of helpers. We don't have any flashy signs out front. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the transport guys know exactly where they're going. It's honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. Sometimes the orders get complicated, but we just sort them out one by one.
