Amrutha Metals

Down at No. 63 N. R. Road, things stay pretty loud. We are right at the 1st Cross in Mothinagar Main Road, inside the National Building. Being near the mosque and the Bamboo Bazar means there is a constant flow of people and carts going past our doors. Amrutha Metals is a place where we handle a lot of heavy stuff. The building itself is older, and you can feel the history of the area when you walk through the halls. We have metal sheets and rods stacked up against the walls, and the floor is scratched from years of moving stock around. It’s a hot environment, especially in the summer months, but we are used to it. The smell of iron and dust is just part of the day. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know the routine. We often talk to the guys from the other shops while we are waiting for a truck to arrive. It’s a tight-knit spot in a busy part of town. Sometimes we have to move everything just to find one specific piece, which can take half the morning. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We like being centrally located where everything is happening. The National Building has its problems, like the occasional power cut, but we just work around it and keep the orders moving as best as we can.
