Pragati Metal Art

Our workshop is located in the Khuddus Building, right at No. 4-6/3-6 on Tumkur Main Road. We are directly across from the Yeshwantpur Railway Station, and we are also opposite Yeshwantpur Railway Station as the address states. This means there is never a quiet moment. You can always hear the trains coming and going and the crowds of people heading to the platforms. Pragati Metal Art is where we spend our days working with different kinds of metals. There is a lot of cutting, welding, and shaping happening here. The air usually smells like iron and there is often a bit of dust around from the grinding. It is a hard-working environment. The building itself has seen better days, but it is sturdy enough for what we do. We do not have a fancy showroom with lights and mirrors. If you come by, you will see us in our work clothes, probably busy with a torch or a hammer. We get a lot of people stopping by just because they saw our sign while walking to the station. We do not have a big philosophy or anything like that. We just take the metal and turn it into whatever the customer asked for. It is honest work that keeps our hands dirty and our days full. Some days the traffic on Tumkur Main Road is a nightmare, but we are always here by eight in the morning.
