Maruti Metal Industries

Our place is on Magadi Road, specifically at No. 1 on the 4th Cross, left side. If you look for the big water tank, you will find us pretty easily. Maruti Metal Industries is a noisy place, to be honest. Metal work involves a lot of banging and clanging. We deal with all sorts of metal bits and pieces throughout the day. The workshop has high ceilings, which is good because it gets hot with all the activity. We don't have a fancy office. Most of the time, we are out on the floor with the guys. There is usually a layer of iron dust on everything, including our shoes. We've been working in this area for a long time. The neighborhood has changed, but the work stays the same. We take the raw material and turn it into whatever the order calls for. It takes some muscle and some patience. We don't have a website that does much, and we don't spend time on social media. People just know where we are. We have our tea breaks out by the road when the sun starts to go down. It’s a tough job sometimes, and your hands never really get clean, but it feels good to make things. We just try to do right by the people who come to us. We finish the work, get it loaded onto the trucks, and start again the next day. It’s a hard living but it’s our living.
