Our spot is tucked away in the H.M.T Colony over in Jaalahalli. It’s actually Door No. 5-D-6 in the 3rd Sector. Most people know it by the name G. Channabasappa or the Shashikumar Vittal Kong connection. Being Yes, Silicon Infosol As A Sw Engg means we spend a lot of time looking at screens and trying to figure out coding problems. The office is in a pretty quiet part of Bangalore-560031 compared to the more crowded areas. We don’t have a big shiny lobby or a reception desk that looks like a hotel. It’s mostly just us and our computers in a space that feels more like a home than a corporate building. Getting here can be a bit tricky if you aren't familiar with the colony roads, but once you find the sector, it is easy enough. We handle various software engineering tasks, and the atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We don't really do the whole marketing thing because we are too busy with the technical side of things. It’s just a group of people working on software in a regular neighborhood. We’ve been at this for a while and the routine stays pretty much the same. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are more concerned with the code we are writing than the decor. Sometimes we order in from the small shop down the road when we have to work late. It’s a bit of a squeeze when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. It is honest work in a part of town that still feels like old Bangalore.
