Y N R Tent House

Our place is Y N R Tent House and we are over in the HAL 3rd Stage area. If you know Nehru Road in St Thomas Town, you have probably seen our trucks loaded up with chairs and bamboo poles. It is a family thing, really. We spend our days sorting through stacks of folded chairs and making sure the carpets are not too dusty for the next event. It is a lot of physical labor, especially when the weather is hot. We do not have a fancy office with air conditioning. Most of the time we are just in the back shed checking the inventory or loading the gear for a wedding nearby. It can get pretty chaotic when three different people want tents on the same Saturday. We just do our best to get everything delivered on time. My brother handles most of the driving and I stay back to manage the workers and the phone. We have lived in this part of town for a long time, so we know most of the streets and shortcuts around St Thomas Town. The address is Nehru Road, HAL 3rd Stage, and that is where we keep all our supplies. It is honest work and it keeps us on our feet. We do not do anything flashy, just provide the stuff people need for their celebrations. Some days the gear is heavy and the hours are long, but that is the life of a tent house.
