About Y-Cook India Pvt.Ltd. – Food & Beverages in Bengaluru
Our place is over at 134/1 in Kolathur, Hosakote. It’s a bit outside the main city, which actually works out well for what we do here. Y-Cook India started because we wanted to do something useful with the crops that grow around this region. Hosakote has changed quite a bit since we first set up our facility, with more buildings and roads going up every year. We work closely with the land and the people who live nearby. Most of our staff live within just a few kilometers, so we all know each other and our families. The morning shift starts really early when the air is still cool and quiet. We don't have a lot of fancy office furniture or decorations; most of our space is taken up by the processing equipment and storage. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of what comes in from the fields. If it’s not right, it just doesn't go through. It's a lot of physical labor and staying on your feet all day. We aren't really into the whole marketing scene or big slogans. We just focus on getting the food packed and sent off to wherever it needs to go next. Sometimes the rainy season makes the local roads a bit messy, but we always manage to keep things moving. It’s just how things go for us and we're okay with that. We are just local people making food products, trying to keep things simple and honest.
