Our place is at Crossoverpoint in Indiranagar, Bangalore. If you know this area at all, you know how busy it gets with all the shops and people walking around at all hours of the day. Commi II is where we handle the food side of things, mostly prepping and getting everything ready before the shift starts. Indiranagar is a great spot to be in because there is always something happening, even if the parking is a total nightmare most of the time. We spend a lot of our shift in the kitchen or the prep area at Crossoverpoint. It is a lot of chopping, cleaning, and making sure everything is where it should be before the big rush starts. The work is physically tiring and we are usually on our feet for many hours, but that is just part of the job in this industry. We aren’t a big corporate chain, just a group of people working together to get the food out to everyone. The kitchen can get pretty hot and loud when we are in the middle of things. We don’t really have time for fancy talk or anything like that. We just focus on the tasks at hand. Sometimes it feels like we are constantly racing against the clock. It is honest work and we take pride in just getting it right for the people who come in. It is a fast-paced environment here in Indiranagar and we just keep moving forward.
