If you head down Thindlu Main Road in Kodigehalli, you’ll find us right there at number 2 in Laxmi Nagar. We’ve been trading rice in this neighborhood for quite a while. It’s a basic setup where we keep different varieties of rice in bags and wait for the local shops or families to come by. The air always smells a bit like grain and jute bags. We spend a lot of our morning unloading supplies and making sure everything is stored properly so it stays fresh. It gets dusty, and the bags are heavy, but that’s just how it goes in this trade. We know most of the people who walk through our door because they’ve been buying from us for years. We don't do any fancy marketing or have a website with bright pictures. If someone needs a bag of sona masuri or some basmati, they just stop by and we load it up for them. Sometimes the market prices go up and down, and we have to explain that to our regulars. It’s a very local way of doing things. We stay open pretty late to make sure people coming home from work can grab what they need for dinner. Our place in Laxmi Nagar is just a simple shop where we focus on the quality of the grain and making sure the scales are accurate. It’s honest work that feeds the community, and we are happy to be part of the neighborhood.
