Food Inc

The building has a funny name, Noah’s Ark, which people always comment on when they come by for the first time. It’s located at 2/7 on the 1st Cross of Damodara Mudliar Street in Bangalore. This part of the city has a lot of history, and you can feel it in the narrow lanes. Food Inc operates out of here, and usually, the smell of whatever is cooking nearby drifts into our windows. It is a lively spot. We have a few small rooms and a kitchen area that sees a lot of use during the day. The street outside is usually packed with scooters and people walking to the local shops. It gets quite noisy during the lunch hour. We’ve been at this address for several years now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they have character and show our history here. We aren't some big corporate cafeteria; we're just a small group of people working with food in a tucked-away corner of the city. We know the neighbors, and they know us. Most of the delivery guys don't even need the full address anymore because they just look for the Ark. It's a decent place to spend the day, even if the stairs are a bit steep and the electricity flickers when it rains heavily. Karnataka 560 008 is where we spend our time, just trying to keep the kitchen side of things organized and the orders going out.
