Wood Style is easy to find if you are near the Mico Main Gate in Adugodi. Our shop is right there at number 39 on Hosur Road. Hosur Road is one of those places that never really sleeps. There are always big trucks and buses moving toward the city. Being near the Mico gate means we get a lot of dust from the street, so we are always cleaning off the surfaces. The shop itself is full of the smell of cut wood and sawdust. It’s a good, heavy smell that sticks to your clothes. We have been at this location for a good while now, and the building shows its age if you look closely at the ceiling. We have different types of wood stacked up against the walls and tools lying around on the benches. It is not a showroom where everything is shiny and perfect. This is a workshop where things are actually being put together by hand. People stop in because they saw the sign while stuck in traffic on Hosur Road. Sometimes we just stand by the door and watch the chaos of the Adugodi traffic for a minute before going back to the saw. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside with all the planks and materials, but we manage to get things done. It is just a regular local business trying to keep up with the work. We like being in this part of town despite the constant noise outside.
