Wood Planet

Wood Planet is tucked away at 41 Chikkadugodi in Bharatmata Nagar. We are specifically in Sarkar Colony No 2. It’s a bit of a residential-meets-commercial area, so it’s got a different feel than a big industrial park. The smell of sawdust is pretty much constant around our place. We spend our hours cutting wood and putting things together. The shop isn't very big, so we have to be careful about how we stack the planks and where we put the finished pieces. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to see what we are making. We’ve been at this address for a while and have become part of the local scenery here in Bharatmata Nagar. It’s a bit of a maze to get to Sarkar Colony No 2 if you aren't from around here, but once you find us, it’s hard to miss the sound of the saws. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big showroom. It’s just a workspace where wood gets turned into whatever is needed. We usually have a few projects going at once, so there’s stuff leaning against the walls everywhere. It’s a bit messy, but that’s just part of working with wood. On rainy days, we have to move everything inside quickly so the materials don't get ruined. It’s just a regular day-to-day life for us here, working with our hands.
