Wood Decor

You can find Wood Decor on St Marks Road, right across from the Nandhi Hotel. The address is 41366, but most people just look for the hotel and then cross the street. Our shop is filled with various types of wood and half-finished projects. There is usually sawdust on the floor even if we just swept. It’s just the nature of working with wood. We spend a lot of time measuring and cutting things to size. The smell of cedar and pine is always in the air here. It’s a small shop, so things can get a bit crowded when we have a big order in progress. We don't have a big sales team or a glossy catalog. Usually, someone is just working in the back and will come out if they hear the bell. St Marks Road is a busy area, so there’s always noise from the traffic outside. Sometimes people stop in just to see what we are making that day. We try to keep things organized, but when you’re busy, tools tend to end up everywhere. It’s a real workshop, not a showroom. We use older tools sometimes because they just work better for certain things. If you come by, you’ll likely see us covered in some dust or holding a tape measure. It's a simple life, making things out of wood and staying busy.
