Wonder Wood

Wonder Wood is located at 1237 Banashankari 2nd Stage, in the Thergaon area, right opposite the Vodafone store. If you can find the store, you can find us. The smell of sawdust is usually the first thing you notice when you walk in. We’ve got wood stacked up in different corners, some of it waiting to be cut and some just sitting there. It’s a workshop through and through, with tools lying around and shavings on the floor. Banashankari is a nice neighborhood, and being in the 2nd stage means there’s a good mix of homes and shops around us. We aren't a big factory; it's more of a local spot where we work with our hands. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that's just part of the day. We don't have a glossy catalog or a salesperson following you around. If you come in, you’ll probably find us mid-project, covered in a bit of dust. We like working with wood because it’s something real you can touch and build. It’s noisy when the saws are running, so we usually have to shout to be heard. We’ve been in this spot opposite Vodafone for a while now, and we just enjoy the process of making things. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
