Web Sphere Administrators is based at No.11 on the 11th Main Road in BTM Layout 1st Stage. This part of Bangalore, 560029, is legendary for its traffic and the sheer number of people working in the software industry. Our office is right in the middle of all that action. It’s a standard building on a street lined with trees and parked scooters. We don’t have a flashy entrance or a modern glass facade. It’s just a plain office where we sit and manage server things all day. The rooms are a bit small and it can get a little stuffy when the power goes out and the backup takes a minute to kick in. We’ve got some posters on the walls that have been there for years and a few plants that we occasionally remember to water. It’s a very lived-in space. Most of us have been working together for quite a while, so there isn't much formality. We just get on with the work that needs to be done. BTM is a great place for food, so we usually head out for lunch at one of the many messes or cafes around the 11th Main. It’s a noisy, busy, and sometimes dusty place to be, but it’s where we’ve established ourselves. We don't try to sound like a big corporate entity; we are just a small team of admins doing our thing in a very busy neighborhood.
