Watsons Grab Pub

Watsons Grab Pub is up on the first floor of the Kodava Samaj Building. We are on 1st Main in Vasanth Nagar, right above where Windsor Pub is. Bangalore traffic is always a mess around here, so I usually hear the honking from the street all day. I’ve been working here for a while, and the stairs up to our floor can be a bit tiring by the end of a long shift. Inside, it’s mostly wood and dark colors. We have a lot of regulars who work in the nearby offices and come in for a drink before heading home. It gets really loud on Friday nights, sometimes so much that I can barely hear the person standing right in front of me. I spend a lot of time moving crates and making sure the bar is stocked up. It’s a simple setup, nothing too fancy, just a place to hang out. The kitchen puts out a lot of snacks, and the smell of fried food usually hangs in the air. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just part of living in this city. I like the vibe when the music is right and people are just relaxing. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the orders, but we have a decent team that knows what they are doing. We just keep the drinks cold and the music playing until closing time.
