Vyanjan

We are located in Electronic City at 94/1 and 95/1. Since this is a tech hub, most of our customers are people working in the big offices nearby. They usually come in groups during their lunch breaks, all wearing their ID badges. It gets very busy for about two hours, and then it goes quiet again. We use that quiet time to clean up and get ready for the evening. The space is simple. We have tables and chairs that have seen better days, but they do the job. We aren't trying to be a fancy restaurant. We just want to provide a place where people can eat something that isn't from a vending machine. The kitchen is fairly small, so we have to stay organized. My wife handles the accounts and I look after the daily supplies. We buy our vegetables from the local market every morning. Sometimes the power goes out, which is a headache, but we have a generator for backup. We've been in Electronic City for a while now and we've watched the buildings go up all around us. It’s a fast-paced area, but we try to keep things at a normal human speed inside our doors. We just cook what we know and hope people enjoy a break from their desks. It’s hard work, but we like being our own bosses here. We try to keep the menu consistent so people know what to expect when they walk in.
