We are located at No.77, a building we call Deepam, situated on the 1st Main in N.R. Layout. This is part of the Vijinapura area, near Doorvaninagar here in Bangalore. The 560016 area is where we spend our days dealing with bus body parts and all the technical stuff that goes with it. It’s an interesting part of town because it has a mix of homes and small workshops. Our building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but it houses everything we need to keep things moving. We’ve got a small crew that has been around for a bit, and we all know each other’s habits by now. The morning routine involves opening up the shutters and letting some air into the office. We don't have a big receptionist or a fancy lobby area. People usually just walk in and ask for whoever they need to talk to. Vijinapura can get a bit dusty with all the construction and the traffic on the main roads, but inside Deepam, we just focus on the drawings and the specifications we have to follow. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the stall at the corner of the layout. It’s a standard routine, nothing too exciting, but it’s how we’ve been operating for quite a while now without much fuss. We just try to get things right and keep the workspace organized.
