Vmart Supermarket

Being near the Thaplamma Temple means we see a lot of foot traffic. Vmart Supermarket sits right on Tekal Main Road at 234/42. It’s a decent sized space where we stock everything from soap to snacks. People coming from the temple often pop in for a few things they forgot at home. We try to keep the shelves filled up. It gets crowded on festival days, which can be a bit much, but we manage. My brother helps out with the billing when it gets busy. We aren't trying to be like those huge city malls. This is just a local place for local folks. The floor is usually clean but with so many people coming in, it’s hard to keep it perfect. We’ve got a few fridges for the cold drinks. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to mess with the generator. It's part of running a shop here. We know which brands the neighbors like. If something isn't on the shelf, just ask one of us. We probably have a box of it in the back room somewhere. It’s a lot of lifting and moving boxes every morning. We like the location though. It is convenient for everyone living around Tekal Main Road. We just keep it simple and keep the doors open. We've got most things people need for their kitchens and bathrooms. It’s a busy life but we enjoy being right in the middle of it all.
