Vivis Fastfood is right on the 2Nd Cross in New Thippasandra, specifically at 1St Stage number 7. If you’ve walked through this part of town, you’ve probably smelled the oil from our fryers. It’s a small shop, mostly just enough room for the counters and the stove. We don't have much space for people to sit, so you’ll usually see everyone standing out on the pavement eating. It gets very crowded around tea time. We’re constantly bagging up orders and shouting out numbers over the noise of the traffic. It’s hot work, especially in the summer, standing over those big pans all day. We started this because people around here need something quick and filling to get through the day. We don’t use any fancy techniques. It’s just chopping vegetables, frying things up, and making sure the sauce containers are full. Sometimes we run out of stuff before the day is over because we didn’t expect so many people. The 2Nd Cross is a narrow street, so it’s always a bit of a mess with scooters and people walking by. We know most of the people who stop by daily. They don't want a long conversation, just their food so they can get back to work or home. It’s a frantic way to spend a day, but we’re used to it by now. We just keep the stove hot and the orders moving as fast as we can.
