We have been at 45 Dodha Nakundhi for quite a few years now. Most people know that the Marathahalli Ring Road is always a bit of a nightmare with the traffic, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get to work. We see a lot of people commuting past our front door every single day. It’s a loud spot with all the trucks and horns, but we’ve grown to like being right in the middle of all that energy. The shop itself isn't anything fancy to look at. It's just a practical place where we get our work done and keep things moving. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside and we have to sweep it out a couple of times a day, but that’s just part of living in Bangalore. We start pretty early most days because that's the only time things are even remotely quiet before the gridlock really sets in. If you're coming down from the bridge side, you have to keep a sharp eye out so you don't miss the turn. We have some regular faces who stop by, mostly folks who work in the big offices nearby or live just around the corner. It’s a very honest location, right there on the main stretch. We don't have a massive sign, just enough so people can find us. The neighborhood has changed so much since we started. We just keep our heads down and deal with the day. The rain makes the road a mess sometimes, but we stay dry and busy.
