Vishal Ply

Our yard is at 108/1 in the New Timber Yard Layout over on Mysore Road. Vishal Ply has been around this area for a good while now. New Guddadahalli is a central spot for this kind of work, so it makes sense for us to be here. The yard is always full of plywood sheets of all different sizes. We spend a lot of our time moving them around so we can find the right one for someone. It’s a bit of a physical workout, to be honest. My uncle and I run most of the day-to-day operations ourselves. We don't have a big corporate office or anything fancy like that. Just a small room with a ceiling fan and a few chairs for visitors. The trucks start coming in early on Mysore Road, so we try to get here before the traffic gets too bad. It’s a dusty job, but we are well used to it by now. The neighbors around us are all in the same line of business, so we know everyone on the street. We don't really do much advertising or promotion. The sign outside our place is a bit faded from the sun over the years. We just keep the inventory ready for whoever needs it. Sometimes the phone rings all day, and other days it’s completely quiet. We just take things as they come. It’s just a local shop at 108/1 doing its thing. We finish up around sunset and lock the gate for the night.
