If you are looking for Amar Hardware, you have to head down to Yelachanahalli on the Kanakapura Main Road. We are at number 26, right opposite the Chchu Gatta Road. It is a busy part of JP Nagar here in Bangalore. The traffic on the main road can be a real headache sometimes, especially in the evenings when everyone is trying to get home. Our shop is filled with all sorts of things, and it might look a bit messy to someone from the outside, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time talking to people who come in needing one specific bolt or a particular tool. It is a local spot where the regulars come in just to say hello even if they do not need to buy anything that day. The building is older, and the floor is a bit uneven, but it serves us well. We do not use any computer systems for everything; we still write a lot of things down by hand. It is just easier that way for us. Sometimes the rain comes down really hard and we have to move some of the stock away from the door so it does not get wet. It is just part of being in this neighborhood. We have been across from Chchu Gatta Road for a long time now, and we do not plan on moving anywhere else anytime soon. It feels like home to us.
