Asian Office Makers

Asian Office Makers is right in the heart of the New Bamboo Bazar area in Cantonment. Our address is 39, and it’s usually filled with the smell of wood shavings and some kind of varnish. We spend our days putting together desks, chairs, and whatever else goes into an office. It’s a hands-on kind of place. You won't find anyone here who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty. The workshop can get a bit messy with sawdust, especially on Fridays when we are trying to clear out the week's projects. Being in the Bamboo Bazar means there is always a lot of activity around us. We see suppliers and other woodworkers passing by all the time. It is a gritty, busy part of town and we fit right in. We don’t have a fancy showroom with bright lights. Usually, we just show people what we are currently building right there on the shop floor. It is more about the craft than the presentation for us. Our team has been doing this for years, so we have a rhythm down. Some of the tools we use are older than the staff, but they still work just fine. If you stop by No. 39, you’ll see us busy with saws and sanders. It’s just what we do here in Cantonment. It gets loud and the dust is everywhere, but we like it that way.
