Vishakapatnam Steel Plant

We are located out in Mahadevapura, right on the 80 Feet Road just off the main Whitefield Road. It’s a busy stretch of road and things are always moving fast outside our gates. This site is mostly about handling the steel supply that comes through this part of the city. We have a lot of heavy stock sitting in the yard, and it’s a constant cycle of unloading and loading. The guys on the floor are usually busy moving pieces around with the cranes or checking the inventory lists. It’s a loud place, especially when the big trailers are backing in. We don't spend much time making the place look pretty because that's not what we're here for. It’s a working yard through and through. The rain sometimes makes things a bit muddy, but we just keep working around it. You might see a lot of dust and some scrap piles near the edges, which is pretty normal for a steel yard. Most people who come here are drivers or contractors who know the drill. We just try to get the steel where it needs to go without too much fuss. It’s a straightforward operation. We show up, move the metal, and head home at the end of the shift. There’s a lot of coordination involved with the main plant, but here on the ground, it’s just about the physical work and the daily logbooks. It keeps us quite busy.
