Vinayaka Rice Traders

We are located at number 26 in New Thippasandra. It is a lively neighborhood with a lot of people walking around at all hours. Our shop is a pretty simple affair. We have the usual stacks of rice bags that reach almost to the ceiling in the back. The front part is where we stand and talk to anyone who drops by. The floor is made of grey tiles that are easy to sweep, which is good because there is always a bit of grain falling out of the sacks. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who have been here for years. We know most of the regular customers by their names and what they usually like to buy. There isn't any air conditioning, so we just keep the front wide open to the street. It gets a bit dusty, but that’s just life in the market. We don't have a fancy computer system. Everything is tracked with a pen and a notebook. Vinayaka Rice Traders is a straightforward place. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just open up at the same time every morning and stay until the evening. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun, but you can still read the name well enough. It is just a basic shop at 26 New Thippasandra where we spend our days.
