Vimal Engineers is over on 10th Main in Shashtrinagar, Bangalore. It is a straightforward engineering place. We have a lot of tools and machines that make quite a bit of noise throughout the day. The shop floor is usually a bit greasy and there are metal scraps in the corners, but that is how a workshop should be. We spend our time fixing things or making parts that people need for their projects. Bangalore has changed a lot over the years, but this part of Shashtrinagar still feels like the old city. We have a small office tucked in the corner where the bills and drawings are kept. It is not a place for fancy suits or polished floors. We wear work clothes that can get dirty. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit for the generator, but we usually have enough to keep us busy. People from around the neighborhood stop by when they have something broken that needs a quick weld or a specific bolt. We do not do much in the way of marketing or advertising. Most people find us because they were told about us by someone else who was happy with what we did. It is a simple life of measuring, cutting, and fitting things together. There is always a smell of cutting oil and hot metal in the air here. We keep a ledger for the accounts and try to stay on top of the orders.
