Avco Tech Engineering

You can find us over at 110/3 in the Peenya Industrial Area. It is a busy part of town with a lot of noise from all the factories around us. We are an engineering shop, so there is always the sound of machines running and metal being worked on. Our space is not very big, but we have the tools we need to get the job done. Most of us wear overalls and get our hands dirty every day. We do not have a fancy office upstairs; we are usually right there on the floor. We take orders for different parts and try to get them finished on time. Sometimes the materials arrive late or a machine breaks down, and we just have to figure it out as we go. It is a practical environment. We have been in this industrial patch for a while now. People around here know us as the guys who handle the technical engineering stuff. We do not do much in the way of advertising. Usually, someone just drops by with a drawing or a part that needs fixing. We drink a lot of tea and spend our hours measuring things and running the lathes. It is a tough environment with the heat and the grease, but it is what we do. We just keep the machines humming and try to stay on top of the work orders coming in.
