Karthik Engineering

You can find Karthik Engineering right at 36 J. C. Road. We’ve been operating out of this spot for quite a while now. It’s a busy area, so there’s always something going on right outside our doors. Our shop is mostly filled with tools, scrap metal, and whatever projects we happen to be working on that week. We do a lot of general engineering work, the kind of stuff where people bring in a broken part or a drawing and ask if we can make it. It’s a small team here, just a few of us who have been working with metal and machines for years. We don’t have a fancy front desk or a receptionist; usually, you just walk in and talk to whoever isn't currently busy with a lathe or a welding torch. The floor is usually covered in a bit of oil and metal shavings, but that’s a sign that we’re actually getting things done. We don't do much advertising because most of our work comes from folks in the neighborhood or people who have been coming to us for years. It gets pretty loud when the heavy machines are running, but we don't mind. We just like fixing things and seeing a project through from start to finish. It’s honest work, and we try to keep our prices fair for the local guys who need help with their equipment.
