Finding us at Bmp-56 in Hanumagiri can be a bit tricky if you don't know the 12th Cross area well. Chikkalsandra is always busy, and the traffic on 22nd Main is something we deal with every single morning. We started Engineers & Engineers because we wanted to work for ourselves right here in Bangalore. The office isn't anything special to look at. It's mostly filled with old files, a few computers that have seen better days, and a lot of half-finished sketches. We spend most of our time figuring out technical problems that others might find boring. Sometimes we stay late when a project is giving us trouble, eating takeout and checking numbers over and over. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to answer the phones with a scripted greeting. It's usually one of us picking up while trying to do three other things. We know the local regulations and the way things work in this part of the city. It’s a bit chaotic sometimes, but we enjoy the puzzle of it all. If you come by, you’ll probably find us arguing about a measurement or looking for a misplaced ruler. We just want to do a decent job for the people who hire us and go home feeling like we earned our keep. It's a regular life for regular people who like building stuff correctly.
