Vikas Steel House

Vikas Steel House is located at 327 Avenue Road, right on Tilak Road in the basement floor. Being in a basement means we don’t get a lot of natural light, but it stays a bit cooler when the sun is really beating down outside. Avenue Road is always packed with people and traffic, so it’s a lively place to be. We deal with steel and metal items, so things can get a bit heavy and noisy around here. You have to watch your step coming down the stairs, especially if we’re moving stuff in or out. The space is filled with stacks of materials, and it smells like iron and dust most of the time. We’ve been at this location for a good while, and we’ve seen shops come and go all around us. We don’t bother with much decoration; the steel is the main thing you’ll see. It’s a practical business for practical people. We don't have a fancy showroom with glass cases. If you need something, we usually have to dig it out from the back or a pile. It’s hard work, and our hands are usually dirty by the end of the shift, but that’s just the nature of the job. People know us as the place in the basement on Tilak Road. We just keep our heads down and keep working.
