Vijayalakshmi Provision Stores

Vijayalakshmi Provision Stores is our small family-run shop at 3 Austin Town. We are located right on Dr Raj Road in the 6th Block area. This is a basic grocery store where we stock the everyday things people need for their kitchens and homes. We have bags of rice, different kinds of lentils, spices, and soaps lined up on the shelves. The shop is quite small, so we have to stack the items very high to make everything fit. It can get a bit crowded when more than two or three customers are inside at the same time. Austin Town is one of those old neighborhoods that still has a lot of character. We have lived and worked here for a long time, so we know almost everyone who walks through the door. Most people just stop in for their daily milk, bread, or a few eggs. The street outside is always full of life, with kids going to school and people heading to the bus stop. We spend our day weighing out items and packing them into small paper bags. It is a simple routine, but we enjoy the chats we have with our neighbors. When it gets really hot in the afternoon, we just pull a stool near the door to catch a breeze. We do not use any modern machines, just a basic calculator and a notebook for our accounts.
