Vijay Metal & Bankers

Down at Yeshwantpur Garden Estate you can find us at Vijay Metal & Bankers. We have been operating here for a while and the shop is a mix of metal trading and helping people with their money stuff. It is a bit of a crowded place because we have a lot of items coming in and out every day. We start early in the morning when the area is still a little bit quiet. By noon it gets very loud with all the traffic and people moving about. We do not have a lot of time for sitting down because there is always someone at the counter. We weigh the metal and check the quality and then we talk about the financial side of things. It is a very practical business. We do not have any big signs or fancy decorations in the shop. People know us because we have been in Yeshwantpur for such a long time. We have seen the whole area change and grow, but we just keep doing what we have always done. Sometimes it gets a bit stressful when a lot of people come in at once, but we just handle them one by one. We do not use computers for everything, we still like our ledgers and notebooks. It feels more real that way. We just want to get through the day's work and make sure everyone is treated fairly. It is a simple life for us here.
