Veribo Foods

Down on BTS Road in Rajajinagar, specifically on HBR 2nd Cross Road at number 609, is where Veribo Foods is located. It’s a place that usually smells like whatever we are processing that day. Sometimes it’s spices, other times it’s something sweeter. We aren't a massive factory with robots; it’s mostly just people in hairnets and aprons doing things by hand. The kitchen area is the heart of the whole operation, and it can get quite hot in there during the afternoons. We started this because we liked food, and now it has turned into a full-time job for all of us. The space is a bit tight, so we have to be careful where we stack the crates and the raw ingredients. We spend a lot of time checking the labels and making sure the packaging is sealed right. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we talk and listen to the radio to pass the time. The neighborhood around HBR 2nd Cross is pretty lively, so there’s always something happening outside the windows. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. Usually, people find out about us because they tried something we made and liked it. We just keep our heads down, follow the recipes, and try to get the orders out on time every single day. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy and the pantry full of stuff.
