Venubai Vithal Morde is located on the 3rd Main Road in New Tharagpet at number 95. This part of the city is known as a major hub for the wholesale grain and spice trade. You will always find large trucks parked along the road and people moving heavy sacks of goods back and forth. Our office and storage space are right in the thick of all this activity. It can be a dusty and noisy place to work, but it is where the real commerce of the city happens. We handle a lot of bulk products and the air always smells like a mix of different grains and spices. The office part is quite small and sits just behind where we keep the stock. We have been here for a long time, starting our work early in the morning when the first deliveries arrive. Our day begins with checking the inventory and making sure everything is ready for the day's orders. There are constantly people coming in to talk about prices or to pick up their goods. It is definitely not a place for someone who wants a polished or quiet office environment. It is a gritty, hardworking atmosphere and that suits us just fine. The 3rd Main Road is almost always blocked with traffic, but that is just a sign that the market is healthy. We are happy to be a small part of this big system that feeds the whole city.
