Chopra Tractors Auto Traders is located at number 13 in the Silver Market on Banneraghatta Road. It’s a place for anyone who needs parts for their tractors or other agricultural machines. The shop is quite packed with metal parts, gears, and tools. It’s not the cleanest environment because we are dealing with oily machinery all day. We have grease on our hands most of the time. My brother and I have been running this place together, and we’ve added a couple of helpers over the years to help with the heavy lifting. We don't have a computer to look up parts; we usually just know where everything is because we’ve been here so long. Customers often come in with a broken part and ask if we have a replacement. Sometimes we have to dig through the back shelves for an hour to find the right thing. It’s a lot of trial and error. The Silver Market is a noisy, busy place with lots of other shops doing similar work. We get along well with the neighbors. We don't have a website or any fancy advertisements. People usually just hear about us from other farmers or mechanics. It’s a very old-fashioned way of doing business, but it works for the people around here. We just try to be helpful and give people the parts they need for a fair price. It’s a steady job and it keeps us busy from morning until night.
