Venkatesha Roadways

Venkatesha Roadways is situated in Sultanpet at 240/2. We are quite close to the Balaji Complex, which is a big landmark around here. If you know Sultanpet, you know it’s one of the busiest places for moving goods. The roads are narrow and there are always handcarts and scooters in the way. Our office is basically a small room where we keep our logbooks and a few chairs for when the truck drivers come in to report. There’s usually a bit of dust in the air from all the activity outside. We spend most of our time coordinating where the trucks are and when they will arrive. It’s a lot of waiting followed by a lot of rushing. We don’t have any fancy software to track things; we mostly rely on phone calls and our own notebooks. The walls are a bit stained from years of use, and the furniture is old, but it serves its purpose. Dealing with the traffic in this area is a daily struggle, but we have been doing it long enough to know the shortcuts. Sometimes things get delayed because of rain or a breakdown, and we just have to deal with it as it comes. It is hard work and the hours are long, but this is what we do. We just keep the wheels turning from our little spot in Sultanpet and hope the roads stay clear.
