Our shop is over at C/14 in the Rajajinagar Industrial Town. It’s a noisy place with all the metal punching going on, but that’s how it is in this part of town. We’ve got the machines running most of the day. It gets pretty hot inside during the summer months. We started Vengree Metal Punch because we knew how to handle the equipment. There are a lot of us working here, making sure the metal sheets get done right. We aren't big on talk. Most of the time we’re just focusing on the specs and making sure the punches are clean. The industrial estate is a busy area, lots of trucks coming in and out. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around, but usually, we’re keeping busy. We handle all sorts of metal jobs for different projects. Some people come from far away just because they heard we have the right setup at C/14. It’s a lot of hard work and the floor is always covered in small metal scraps. We sweep up at the end of the shift, grab our bags, and head home. It’s steady work. We don't try to be anything we aren't. Just a bunch of people who know how to punch metal and keep the business moving. The neighbors know us by the sound of the presses. It's just a regular day-to-day operation here in the industrial town.
