Vengateshwara Mill Store

Vengateshwara Mill Store is situated at 2211 Indira Nagar, right near the B S N L office. We’ve been a fixture in this neighborhood for a long time. The store itself is packed with all sorts of hardware, belts, and spare parts that mills and small factories might need. If you come inside, it’s a bit dark and smells like metal and machine grease. We have shelves that go all the way up, and we use an old wooden ladder to get to the things on top. We don't really have a modern display; things are just where they fit. Indira Nagar has become a very busy and upscale place, but our store hasn't changed much over the years. We still use paper bills and keep our records in thick notebooks. Most of our customers are people who have been coming to us for decades because they know we likely have that one specific bolt or part they can't find anywhere else. We don't do any marketing or have a website. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for people to stop by. Sometimes we spend half an hour just talking to a customer about a machine problem they’re having. It’s a slow, steady way of doing things, and we’re quite happy with that. We just focus on keeping the stock full and the customers satisfied with the parts.
