Vedarathi Transport

Vedarathi Transport is tucked away on the 2nd floor at 69/71 Sudham Nagar. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren’t looking for it. Up here, away from the street level, it’s mostly just desks, logbooks, and several phones that never seem to stop ringing. We spend our time figuring out where trucks are and when they’ll get to where they’re going. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes things go wrong, like a flat tire or a delay at a checkpoint. We don’t have a fleet of brand new vehicles with fancy logos. Most of the work is just grit and making sure the drivers stay on schedule. Sudham Nagar is a busy spot, so getting in and out of the area takes some patience. The office itself has a few old calendars on the wall and too many pens that have run out of ink. We drink a lot of tea to stay awake during the late shifts. It’s not a glamorous job, but things need to be moved from one place to another, and that’s what we handle. We’ve been at this address for a while now, and the stairs up to the second floor definitely make you work for it. It’s just a practical operation without any unnecessary polish. We focus on the routes and the timing, keeping things moving as best as we can every single day.
