It is a busy little street, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get to work. The easiest way to find us is to look for the Ragavendra Temple because we are right opposite to it. You can usually hear the temple bells from our front door. It is actually quite nice to have that sound in the background while we are dealing with all the logs and schedules. The office is not very big, and there are stacks of papers and ledgers everywhere you look. We spend a lot of time on the phone, talking to drivers and checking where the loads are. There is a lot of dust that comes in from the road, so we are always wiping down the desks. Most of us have been working in transport for years, so the chaos of the road feels normal to us now. The neighbors are mostly quiet, except for when there is a festival at the temple. Then the whole street gets blocked up with people and stalls. We just work around it. It is not a polished corporate office with glass walls or anything. It is just a plain room where we get the trucks moving. We try to keep things simple and just get through the daily tasks one by one.
